Happy Holidays!

I love a good project so when it came time to come up with a craft for preschool friend gifts I decided to make cookie jars. I got the idea from Stacy Claire Boyd's blog who got her idea from Bakerella's blog. I varied mine slightly by changing the colors to red, green, and brown, and omitted the pecans from the recipe for the classmates who have nut allergies. I created my own labels and gift tags, printed them on adhesive paper, stuck them to the jar and voila....homemade cookie jars! I included my husband and boys in the process and we had a great time assembling the jars together. We had so much fun working as a team this may be our new Holiday project for every year. The jars got a great response from all who received them and the cookies were super delicious!

Introducing Allison Casey Paper!

I am always on the look out for new stationery and gift lines to add to our collection and several months ago came across the designs of Allison Casey Paper. I have been working with paper for a while now so I can usually tell a great invitation just from the feel of the cardstock inside the envelope. After recently receiving their invitation in the mail and seeing the quality in person I was completely sold on their product line and quickly contacted them to see if Busy Bee Paperie would be able to carry their designs. Exciting things are happening at Busy Bee Paperie! We are adding new product lines to our collection, working on our very own product line called Bee Originals, gearing up for our Girl's Night Out event, and in the process of launching our online boutique! There have been a few sleepless nights around here trying to get everything done in the midst of chasing after three very busy little boys but I always tend to work best when kept busiest....hence came about the name Busy Bee Paperie! The jewelry is sterling silver and beautifully displays your favorite inspirational verse or portrait of a loved one. The pendants come in a range of shapes and sizes. Any photo can be emailed directly to me and will be sized to fit your pendant. Digital images are recommended but scanned photos will be accepted as well. To use a professional photo please obtain the copyright release from the photographer. You will have the option of converting your photo to black and white to create a more timeless look.
